Kentucky Basketball

For many Kentuckians, their favorite part of the year is now upon us.  That's right, It's time for Kentucky basketball!  Billy Gillespie has assembled one of the most exciting squads that we've seen in a while and there is defenitely that special feeling in the air.  If you follow Kentucky basketball at all, you know what we're talking about.  You probably also know that the place to watch the 'Cats is at Shamrock Bar and Grille.  We have two locations with lots of HDTV's so that everyone's got  a great view of the action.  The 'Cats will be tested early as we battle the Tar Heels of North Carolina down on Tobacco Road.  The action begins at 9PM on ESPN and we'll all be tuned in to root on the 'Cats.  Be sure to join us for all the games at Shamrock Bar and Grille's two Lexington locations.

NFL at Shamrock Bar and Grille

Shamrock Bar and Grille gets very excited this time of year.  Football is in our blood whether it be The University of Kentucky on Saturday's, or your favorite NFL team on Sunday's.  Catch all of the live action here as Shamrock's televises all NFL games on our HDTV's through the NFL ticket.  No matter who you're rooting on, we will have your game on somewhere.  Both locations have the package, so come on out and join us as we enjoy this great time of the year.  Also, catch all of the UK football games at each location.  If the event is Pay-Per-View, just give us a call and chances are that we'll have purchased it.  Thanks again from all of your friends at Shamrock Bar and Grille.

Helping Out Hospice

Shamrock Bar and Grille would like to thank everyone invoved in our 2008 golf scramble held at Griffin Gate Golf Club last month.  Not only did everyone have a great afternoon of fun, but more importantly we raised over $7,000 for Hospice of the Bluegrass.  Our appreciation goes out to everyone involved with the event and to all that participated.  The scramble is an annual event that Shamrock's is proud to be a part of and will continue to be a part of for years to come.  Thank all of you for your help and donations.

Shamrocks Open Mic Night

Shamrock Bar and Grille will be hosting Open Mic Night every Tuesday at the Patchen Drive location.  The fun begins at 9PM, and wraps up aroun Midnight.  Take your act on the road at "The Rock."  David Price will be hosting the event and will provide the equipment needed except for the instrument.  Bring your own instrument and David will take care of the rest.  Show us what you've got at Shamrocks Open Mic Night!
